Alex Stojicevic recently received what some may consider to be Vancouver’s highest honour: a feature in the Georgia Straight’s annual Best of Vancouver survey. The September 19 issue of the popular weekly newspaper showcased the 18th annual Best of Vancouver results, with Alex Stojicevic winning third in the best Vancouver immigration lawyer category.
“I feel truly honoured that the people of Vancouver took the time to vote for me as one of the top immigration lawyers in the city,” said Alex. “I consider myself lucky to practice such important work, in such a beautiful city, with my partners at MKS.”
Alex Stojicevic‘s long and impressive history in the realm of immigration law make it no surprise that he should be recognized for his outstanding work. Alex has had over 17 years experience as an immigration and citizenship lawyer as well as teaching immigration law at UBC Law School and chairing the National Immigration and Citizenship Section of the Canadian Bar Association. He also has a long history of sharing his knowledge and mentoring others as member of the faculty of Continuing legal education program of BC.
Currently, Alex is the managing partner at Maynard Kischer Stojicevic where he manages a variety of clients, some with up to 130 foreign workers on their staff.

Sas of Miller Thomson took first place and Zool Suleman of Suleman & Company took second place.
