Alex Stojicevic Receives the CBA Immigration Law Section’s Award of Excellence
Congratulations to Aleksandar (Alex) Stojicevic on receiving the Award of Excellence from the CBA Immigration Law Section. This prestigious award is presented annually to a senior member of the Immigration Law Section who has demonstrated leadership, loyalty, and dedication to the Canadian Bar Association and to the legal profession.
In his acceptance speech, Alex acknowledged the importance of working in a community of engaged colleagues who challenge one another daily. He also expressed his gratitude to all the people he has worked with over the years, including those who have worked for him, and emphasized the importance of recognizing and nurturing each individual’s unique talents and abilities.
The CBA Immigration Law Section Award of Excellence is the highest honour that can be bestowed upon a member of the Section. To be eligible for the award, candidates must be active members of the Canadian Bar Association and have a lengthy and distinguished history of achievement of professional excellence while making significant contributions to the Canadian citizenship, immigration, and refugee community, including the law, access to justice, or the rights of immigrants and refugees.
The team from MKS Immigration Lawyers would like to extend our congratulations to Alex and all past winners of the CBA Immigration Law Section Award of Excellence, and to all the dedicated professionals who work tirelessly to further the cause of justice and equality in Canadian immigration law.
