A founding partner of MKS Immigration Lawyers, Gordon retired from the practice of law in 2025 after more than three decades as one of Canada’s most respected immigration lawyers.  He was one of the architects of Canada’s immigration law in 2002 and was at the forefront of making immigration law and policy throughout his career. 

A former high school teacher, Gordon brought his curiosity, warm sense of humour and razor-sharp legal mind to every legal challenge.  His work and character earned him lasting respect and appreciation from colleagues, clients, judges and even legal adversaries.
