Alex Stojicevic, a founding and managing partner of MKS, is an esteemed immigration lawyer with over 28 years of experience. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of Calgary and a law degree from the University of British Columbia.  Alex won the CBA National Immigration Section’s prestigious Award of Excellence in 2023.  Alex has a diverse practice that encompasses both litigation and solicitors work, and he has been involved in ground breaking litigation before both the Federal Court and the IRB.

In addition to his legal practice, Alex is actively involved in the legal community. He has been a member of the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) for many years and has served on the executive committee of the CBA National Immigration Section, as well as it Chair. He was also Chair of the National Sections Committee of the CBA in 2018-2020.  He has also been a faculty member for numerous professional development conferences, sharing his expertise on immigration and citizenship issues, as well as an adjunct Professor at UBC Law School in 2011.
